Wedding photo coverage

Wedding photographer in Belgium

From the preparations to the last dance, I capture the emotion of your day with discretion and sincerity. A living reportage, true to who you are, that you'll still love thirty years from now.

The approach

My approach to wedding coverage

Your wedding won't happen twice — that's what makes this work both demanding and precious. My approach is that of reportage: discreet, I capture emotion as it happens rather than staging it. The glances, the laughter, the tears, and all those small details you won't have time to notice on the day.

I won't impose anything on you, but I'll know how to guide you when it matters — especially during your couple session, that moment for the two of you where I put you at ease for natural, powerful images.

A photographer for over fifteen years, based in Durbuy in the heart of the Ardennes, I have covered more than thirty weddings, in Belgium and abroad. My favourite playground remains the outdoors at golden hour, when the light sculpts faces — but I know how to adapt to every setting: church, reception venue, rain, crowds. The goal never changes: honest, sincere, timeless images.

Why this price?

A wedding billed at €1,500 is not a day of work: it's 30 to 40 hours in total. There is, of course, the day itself — 8 to 12 hours of continuous presence — but also the conversation beforehand.

And above all the aftermath: sorting through several thousand photos, selecting the best ones, then correcting and individually retouching each image — that is 15 to 25 hours of post-production. Measured against the time actually invested, the price is far more reasonable than it first appears.

Beyond the time invested, there is experience: photographing a wedding cannot be improvised. The years spent covering this kind of event have taught me to anticipate the key moments — and to secure everything against the slightest mishap: two camera bodies at all times, dual memory-card recording, systematic backups in several copies.

Frequently asked questions

What I get asked the most

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Belgium?

Expect on average between €1,200 and €2,500 for a full day with a professional photographer. My wedding packages start at €1,000 and adjust to the length of coverage and your options. The simulator on this site gives you a precise estimate in under two minutes.

How many photos will I receive?

On average, I deliver around 100 photos per hour of coverage, retouched one by one, in high resolution — in colour and in black and white when the mood calls for it.

How long until the photos are delivered?

You receive a preview of a few images within 48 hours, then your complete private gallery within 3 months after the wedding.

Do you cover weddings everywhere in Belgium?

Yes. I am based in Durbuy, in the province of Luxembourg, and I cover the whole of Belgium — Liège, Namur, Dinant, Brussels, Mons, Marche-en-Famenne and beyond.

Do you travel for weddings abroad?

Yes, without any problem — France, Luxembourg, Germany, and further afield if the project calls for it. A personalised quote is then drawn up based on travel and accommodation costs.

Do you offer an engagement session before the wedding?

Yes, as an option. The pre-wedding session is a great way to learn to pose together in front of the camera, without the stress of the day itself, and to get beautiful images for your save-the-dates. It takes place at the location of your choice.

Do you work with a second photographer?

A second photographer can be added on request. This is particularly useful to cover both partners’ preparations at the same time, or to multiply the angles during the ceremony and the evening.

How do I book a date for my wedding?

Start by creating a simulation with the site's simulator: you receive a personalised quote instantly. If it suits you, we then plan a conversation — video call, phone or over a coffee — to get to know each other and book your date.

Is a deposit required to secure the date?

Yes, a deposit of 30% is requested when the contract is signed to reserve your date in my calendar. The balance is due no later than the wedding day.
